Bristol's Biggest Bike Ride Update

posted on 14 June 2011 | posted in Bristol Bike Blog

BCC have announced today that the cancelled Bristol's Biggest Bike Ride will not be rescheduled.....

Cllr Jon Rogers, Bristol City Council's Executive Member for Cycling, made a statement today concluding that, logistically, rescheduling this event would not be possible as an event of this size involves such a huge amount of planning and resource to ensure the safety of all those taking part.

He went on to say, that efforts will instead be concentrated on making next year's event even better....!!!

Let's hope the weather stays fine for this weekend's event - the Bristol World Naked Bike Ride. This event starts at 11.00am on Sunday 19th June from The Full Moon, Stokes Croft.
