Congratulations to Claire and Sylwia who produced our two winning designs.....

Claire, a Bristol lawyer and a keen (recreational) cyclist sent in the beautifully colourful hand drawn design which has now become our official Bristol Cycling City jersey.

She told us "I used to like drawing when I was younger as I find it relaxing but rarely find time now, when I saw the competition I thought I would have an evening off and enter!"

A very good evening's work Claire! Five new jerseys are on their way to you.

Our new Bristol Jersey design was sent in by Sylwia, a Polish graduate of Architecture and Urban Design. She has used her interest and experience in this area to come up with a very appealing photographic art design.

Cycling has long been a family tradition for Sylwia. She remembers her father taking her for long cycle trips and to watch the Tour de Pologne. She now shares her passion for cycling with her boyfriend . They have been to see the Tour de France live two years running and seen all the most important mountain stages - this year Col de Galibier and Alpe d'Huez and last year Col de Tourmalet. Sylwia was also recently support driver for her partner in the étape du Tour 2011 Modane Valfréjus / Alpe d'Huez.

Congratulations on your great design Sylvia! We hope you and your partner wear your new jerseys on some great rides.
